Aideen Barry’s Public Art Commission “Ludique” gets launched on Thursday the 22nd of September 2011.
The Project will be officially launched by Dublin City Council’s Public Art Officer Ruairi O Cuiv at Gael Scoil Lios na nÓg
in Ranelagh at 6pm.

Aideen has been invited to show some of her moving image works at the San Francisco International Animation Festival in November 2011.

Aideen shows in the show “Gravity” curated by Peter Murray at The Crawford Municipal Gallery ongoing at

Aideen will also make a performance in Geneva during the “Who’s Afraid of Performance Art” festival in Forde Gallery.

The Artist will also be showing specially commissioned new work at the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin opening in November 2011. The show is entitled “Apertures and Anxieties” and celebrates 300 years of Trinity School of Medicine.
